What is a taste.md file?
It's a markdown file encoding a brand's design DNA — colors, typography, spacing, component defaults, and visual principles. You paste it into your AI agent's context and it designs like that brand.
Which AI agents does this work with?
Any agent that accepts markdown in its system prompt: Claude Code, Cursor, Bolt.new, Lovable, v0, GitHub Copilot, and more. The prompt.md in each pack is format-agnostic.
Can I use this for client work?
Single packs and Library are for personal projects only. The Agency tier ($99/mo) includes commercial use and white-label rights for client work.
Are packs affiliated with the brands?
No. Dupe extracts publicly available design intelligence. We are not affiliated with Stripe, Vercel, Linear, or any featured brand.
What if I want a brand that is not in the catalog?
Agency subscribers can request custom packs. Or email us — if enough people ask for the same brand, we add it to the catalog.
